How do I reset my Qyrus password and setup MFA?

This document provides step-by-step instructions to reset your Qyrus and set up Multi-Factor Authentication. This method strengthens account protection and helps prevent unauthorized access, ensuring secure and seamless authentication across the platform.


Password Reset

  1. Open Qyrus in your browser
  2. Click on Forgot Password

  3. Enter your log on Email

  4. You will receive an email from “account-activation@qyrus.com” with the subject – “Qyrus Reset Password Email”
  5. Click on “Click here to reset your password”



  6. A new browser window will open. Enter your new password.

 

MFA Setup

  1. Once you login to Qyrus using your credentials, you will be prompted to set up an MFA application.

  2. Download any authenticator application on your mobile device from the Google PlayStore or iOS AppStore. The example shows Microsoft Authenticator, but you can use other TOTP applications available.
  3. Click on Add Account and select Other.


  4. Scan the QR shown on the browser using your mobile device



  5. A One-time passcode will be displayed on your mobile device


  6. Enter the code and enter a name on Qyrus window in the browser



  7. Enter the code generated by the authenticator application on the mobile device every time you log in
